Northern Heat Pump's Xterra Series

Product range has wide application

The NHP suite of five geothermal heating-cooling products is engineered to cope with five principal needs of the residential or commercial application it has to serve. The price can vary widely dependant on size, age, and construction of the house or property being served. Availability of land or water on the property can be a factor too.

Northern Heat Pump offers a range of sizes in the 3 varying models:

The quality levels of product and performance of NHP carry guarantees. The cost variations for NHP heat pump products to service a typical home are only marginally different. They range from $300 to $1,000 depending product choice and its attendant call on different hardware – like extra pumps or heat exchangers in the more sophisticated lines.

All five NHP products have quality and end-function in common. All efficiently heat and/or cool the interior atmosphere by shifting natural geothermal energy indoors to gently create a comfortable environment. They variously use forced air distribution through conventional or custom ductwork; radiators, fan coil units or piped hot water embedded in floors — or a combination of these approaches. All the units are suitable for both new and retrofit construction projects.

Common features include:
